Warranty policy
HiLamps lighting fixtures include a 3-year limited warranty, unless a product page, invoice, or written quote states otherwise.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use. HiLamps is a China-based lighting business with an operations office in Chengdu and a factory production base in Zhongshan, Guangdong. Because we work directly with our production base, we can review product details, replacement parts, and warranty cases with the factory team directly.
What is covered
During the warranty period, we will review covered product issues that happen under normal use, including:
- Defects in the fixture frame or main structure
- Defects in internal wiring or sockets
- LED driver or LED component failure, when the component was supplied as part of the fixture
- Manufacturing defects in the finish, parts, or assembly
- Missing or incorrect parts related to a confirmed product issue
If a warranty claim is approved, HiLamps may provide replacement parts, repair guidance, a replacement fixture or component, a partial refund, or another practical solution. The solution depends on the product, the issue, parts availability, and whether the fixture can be repaired safely.
What is not covered
This limited warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Improper installation, incorrect wiring, or installation not completed by a qualified person
- Use with the wrong voltage, incompatible dimmers, incompatible bulbs, or unsuitable electrical systems
- Damage caused by power surges, accidents, misuse, neglect, poor maintenance, or unauthorized repair
- Changes, modifications, or repairs made after delivery without written approval from HiLamps
- Normal wear, aging, fading, oxidation, patina, tarnishing, or small finish changes over time
- Damage caused by humidity, salt air, outdoor exposure, chemicals, extreme heat, extreme cold, or other unsuitable environments
- Breakage after delivery, including glass, crystal, shades, bulbs, or other fragile parts, unless the issue was reported as shipping damage within the required time
- Natural variation in handmade, metal, glass, stone, wood, or other natural materials
- Labor costs, electrician fees, removal, reinstallation, project delays, lost time, or other incidental costs
Shipping damage or missing parts
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days after delivery. Send your order number, photos of the packaging, photos or video of the issue, and a short description.
Please keep all packaging until we confirm the next step. Shipping damage is handled separately from long-term warranty service.
Custom and made-to-order fixtures
Custom and made-to-order fixtures are covered by the same 3-year limited warranty for confirmed defects in materials or workmanship.
However, custom products are made to the specifications confirmed before production. The warranty does not cover customer measurement errors, design preference changes, project changes, incorrect installation conditions, or details that were confirmed in writing before production.
How to request warranty service
Email us at service@hilamps.com with the following information:
- Your order number
- The product name or product link
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or video showing the problem
- Photos of the installation area, wiring, driver, label, or affected part if relevant
We may ask for more information before confirming whether the issue is covered. Please do not send any product or part back unless we confirm the return instructions by email.
Warranty limits
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and starts from the delivery date. Warranty service is limited to the product or affected part. It does not cover installation labor, removal, reinstallation, electrical work, freight charges, customs fees, or other indirect costs unless required by law.
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
